Selecting the correct flowmeter helps ensure efficient carbonation while protecting your carbonation stone from performing poorly. The appropriate option can be influenced by tank size and height of product over the stone, stone size and quality, and beverage gravity.

11 CFH — Low Flow
Best for smaller or shorter tanks with limited product height over the stone, smaller stones, or higher-gravity products. Provides maximum control and helps prevent over-driving the stone.

22 CFH — Standard Flow (Most Common)
Suitable for most standard brewery tanks, stone sizes, and beer styles. Offers a balanced combination of carbonation speed, efficiency, and stone performance.

60 CFH — High Flow
Intended for large or tall tanks with significant product height over the stone and stones designed for higher flow rates. Should only be selected when the system can safely handle higher flows. Often only required when splitting flow rate between two 22 CFH flowmeters to manage a dual stone configuration.
